Bloom and Grow: Dahlia (and other lovely flowers)

In this first collaborative workshop between grower and florist,  you will learn all there is to know about growing the perfect dahlia before making your own beautiful dahlia filled arrangement to take home. 

Local flower farmer, Julie Treanor from The Pickery and Yvette Edwards,  florist, will host you for this very special session where you will be surrounded by an abundance of locally grown, seasonal dahlia, flowers and foliage and can ask all the questions you like about growing dahlia and arranging them. 

Under our guidance you will select from our collection of seasonal stems to create your own beautiful, dahlia focused arrangement to take home. You will be provided with a vase to take your arrangement home in.

The workshop will include all your botanical materials and tools and light refreshments. 

We suggest having a little think about where you would like to place your vase afterwards and how tall you would like the finished arrangement to be, so we can help you choose the right materials to work with on the day.

The workshop will be held at The Studio, 9 Tory St. Te Aro. Wgtn. 6011

Sessions will start promptly and take roughly 2 hours, with time for photographs at the end.

Payments are non-refundable.  There are a minimum number of students required for each session.
