Yvette herself is the creative drive behind her namesake brand and has always been in love with flowers and plants. Growing up she recalls spending countless hours in her grandmother's garden in North Wales, admiring each delicate bloom and savouring the scents and being captivated by their natural beauty.  Growing up she and her mother would spend much time touring famous gardens around the country and still to this day plan their time together based on gardens to visit. Before taking her first flourish into floristry she tried settling into corporate life however, it wasn’t long before she reflected on her love of flowers as a child and wanted to turn this love of everything botanical into a career.

Starting her floristry training in the home counties of England, where she is from, Yvette quickly learnt everything she could from the experienced and nurturing team she was working with. Large country homes, top hat and tails weddings, Royal lunches and all things typically English were regular weekly fixtures in the diary and meant she was able to work on and design many types of floral displays and arrangements.  After moving to New Zealand Yvette began turning couples' wedding flower dreams into reality from her Island Bay home studio. In 2016, Yvette moved into a studio on Tory Street in Wellington's CBD and opened her very own bricks and mortar botanical studio. The beautiful character space was small and always filled with an abundance of seasonal blooms and greenery from towering palms to delicate orchids.
