A pole provides a perfect structure for any plant that would normally grow by climbing another tree or plant. These include widely-loved Monstera (Swiss Cheese Plant), Pothos varieties, and many Philodendrons. Often when these plants have support for their aerial roots to settle, leaves grow prolifically and larger. You can create a tower of beautiful tropical leaves by letting vines climb on these moss poles. Moss poles are an ideal solution for a plant that has become a little unruly. The other upside is that you might even create space for another plant.
As you can see in the second picture, we recently gave this much-loved office monstera some serious plant love. We polished, fed with our tonic (can be found on our website), re-potted, and added a moss pole for support. It looked like a new plant afterwards.
