Sculptural Dried Floral Works
As the winter season begins to share more sculptural botanicals with us, I would like to invite you to join myself and artist Virgnia Woods-Jack for a session of creating with local, seasonal blooms to celebrate the delicate beauty of each flower, each petal, each leaf.
In this hands-on workshop you will be able to explore working on the fine details of your own dried floral sculpture with our expert guidance.
The workshop includes all your botanical materials and a metal flower frog/pin cushion to take home to style your sculpture into a vessel.
This is a really exciting opportunity to have a forage through all the YE dried treasures and have two creatives work alongside you as you style your own botanical expression.
These delicate arrangements will need some care to transport home once completed.
The workshop will be held at Yvette Edwards Studio, 9 Tory Street. Te Aro. Wellington.
Sessions will start promptly and take roughly 2 hours, with time for photographs at the end.
Payments are non-refundable. There are a minimum number of students required for each session.
